AICube - Edge GPUs optimised for space usage

AiCube is a high-performance AI processing unit optimised for space environment. It is internally powered by a NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB, designed for AI inference and complex computing workloads in space applications.

 

The module can perform upto 150 TOPS of AI Inferencing and is equipped with 1TB storage for applications, 2TB persistent storage, and supports up to 4TB switchable data storage, providing extensive flexibility for data management.

 

AICube features a PCIe Gen3 x1 slot, enabling high-speed peripheral connections. It supports USB PD, USB SS, and Ethernet over USB for efficient connectivity and high-speed data transfer. Dedicated interfacing ports allow seamless integration with imagers, sensors, and in-orbit electronics, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of mission payloads.

 

AICube also includes versatile I/O and communication interfaces, featuring 2× I²C, 1× CAN, 1× Full-Duplex RS485, 5× GPIO outputs, and 3× GPIO inputs, allowing seamless interaction with other satellite subsystems.

Power is managed through the I-PPC (Isolated - Payload Power Conditioning board), ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
